Joint Humanitarian Appeal for Venezuela

The undersigned organizations express our solidarity with all those affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela and reaffirm our commitment to supporting communities during this humanitarian emergency. We are Venezuelan organizations with years of proven capacity to provide humanitarian assistance, committed to coordinate among ourselves and with other humanitarian organizations to rapidly and efficiently help people in Venezuela.

According to the latest Situation Report issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), on 24 June 2026, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela’s north-central region, followed by more than 940 aftershocks. OCHA reports that at least seven states have been affected, with 2.954 people killed, 16.592 injured, over 16.309 people displaced, and at least 16.300 people lost their home.

These devastating events occurred in a moment when Venezuela is already facing a prolonged humanitarian crisis. Before the earthquakes, 7 millions of people in Venezuela were already experiencing challenges in accessing healthcare, food, safe water, electricity and other essential services, while nearly 7.9 million Venezuelans had left the country in search of protection and a better life, according to UNHCR. The earthquakes have significantly increased humanitarian needs and further strained the resilience of already vulnerable communities.

As humanitarian organizations with an established operational presence across Venezuela, we are already working with local teams and community networks to assess needs and aid affected populations. OCHA has identified the following priority needs: food assistance, health care, including sexual and reproductive health services, protection, water, sanitation and hygiene, and support for the most vulnerable populations.

The magnitude of this emergency requires collective and coordinated action. We invite individuals, foundations, companies and international partners to stand in solidarity with the people of Venezuela by supporting trusted Venezuelan humanitarian organizations with proven experience and presence in the affected communities.

Below you will find information about each signatory organization, its humanitarian work, and secure ways to contribute to the emergency response. Every contribution will help expand the reach of life-saving assistance to those who need it most.

Together, we can help ensure that humanitarian assistance reaches Venezuelan families quickly, effectively and with dignity.
